How To Navigate Organized Sports

  • Early on in a child’s development, there should be a phase when the child gets to sample different sports and activities.

  • Sign up your child for different beginner level sports throughout their younger years.

  • Allow your child to be exposed to a variety of sports so they can find what they enjoy and may be good at.

  • Those options could be Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Baseball, Tennis, Gymnastics, Flag or Tackle Football, Swimming, Golf, Dance, Lacrosse, Ultimate Frisbee, Ice or Roller Hockey, Wrestling, Cheerleading, Cross Country or Track and Field events and more.

  • This allows the child to experience a wide range of skill development, sample what the child prefers, and what the child may want to continue pursuing.
